Why are the forearm forklifts worth double the price that the company is asking for? They have started many conversations. I'm a professional mover, and these bright orange, thin straps always gets my customers talkative. Being friendly, warm, talkative, and energetic is important in any service business. The usual comment a customer will make about my set of forearm forklifts is,"I saw those things on T.V", followed by "do they really work"? This banter usually carries on for around 5 to 10 minutes, and includes demonstrations and laughter. I can remember one move in particular: I was hired to move a couple and their small 4 year old. She was a very spunky red head without a lot to say. She would come near, smile, and jet off in a flash.

After two hours of this, I ran into a situation that called for the forearm forklifts to be used. After pulling them out of my moving caddy, curiously she said "what's that?" After this, she asked could she play with them. Of course I told her no, but this just amplified her curiosity. She stirred at them. It was funny, and the torture of denying her the forearm forklifts was too much for me, so I put them back in my moving caddy. Yes, the forearm forklifts are worth double the price the company is asking for, dare I say triple? The forearm forklifts are great conversation starters, but what about the value of the product? I love the product. Of course you have to do things like keep your back straight, and the forearm forklift will not make the weight of a heavy sofa bed feel like the weight of a pillow.Although the weight isn't reduced, the weight is distributed to your forearms. This reduces the dangers of placing heavy weight on your back. That's the point. Maneuverability is another important feature of the forearm forklifts. It gives the mover more flexibility when guiding around tight, narrow halls.

I've performed hundreds of moves with the forearm forklifts, and they are just as strong as the day I purchased from Amazon. I have two pair now. I keep a pair neatly rolled away in my glove compartment. It is the one moving tool that I can't do without it. Why? The conversations.
